The adapter you make is for a 10.5" hubcap, will it fit any 10.5" hubcap I happen to have?
Maybe, but I can not guarantee it if you try it. Each adapter I make is specifically fitted for that hubcap and wheel combo ONLY. Diameter is not the only important factor, most of my time and cost in protoyping is spent making the depth right so it sits tight to the surface of the wheel. I understand that many chevy hubcaps are interchangeable thru the years. This is a metal cap being forced onto a metal wheel. My adapters are plastic and won't withstand being forced into a hubcap that doesn't quite fit. If you misuse my product I will not refund your money. I am constantly adding new designs and hope to eventually cover everyone's needs but this all takes time.
Do you make adapters for "OEM, stock, rare wheels, or unkown brand"?
I currently only do after-market popular brands of wheels. I am not currently doing any more OEM types because there are too many variations through-out the decades. I have made some for Rally wheels with a 7" mount ring, but not sure I will make others as this product has had no sales. It was a lot of work with no reward.
I may eventually get to others brands but I am a one person shop.
Do you have an adapter for Transport Wheels?
That wheel has no mount on it. So to make an adapter you would still have to drill it and tap bolts to install clips. Not sure I can add any value to already existing solutions.
Can you make just any hubcap that is not listed on your site?
I sometimes do custom fitting work, but have paused this as making a custom adapter is a lot of work. And if I only sell the one, its not worth the time and material costs.
I can only fit a hubcap if I physically have both the wheel and cap. For the custom design work you have to send me your cap. And I have to own that wheel. I can't make an adapter from rough measurements, vague descriptions or pictures. Also there are limitations to making an adapter work. If the hubcap will not sit flat to the face of the wheel or fit in the mount area, its just not possible.
What wheels can you currently make hubcap adapters for?
Boyd Coddington smoothies, Detroit Mobsteel Wheels, Coy's Wheel smoothies. I may aquire more in the future but I have to buy these wheels, so I am not likely to just buy every wheel that exists.
What is the diffence between an LS ready, gauge panel and a SBC one?
Just one indicator light. The OEM LS computer uses a CEL (check engine light) for trouble codes. Most after market EFI systems don't use a CEL. I may phase this item out as the light can be placed anywhere on your dash, and it seems to cause a lot of confusion for people.
Does your gauge panel work with "enter engine/ trans combo"?
Yes, it is designed to only use its own sensors that are incuded. The panel just needs switch 12V, ground, and 12v from light switch. I did this to make it compatible for any C10 combo.
This GPS takes about to 2 seconds to reconnect after powering off. Though the very first time it is connected may take a little longer.
